Abstract
Women in Technology:
Practices and strategies for inclusion in the Tech industry
The tech industry has evolved significantly, but faces a persistent gender gap that limits diversity and innovation.
This study analyzes practices and strategies implemented by global leaders in the sector to increase the participation of women in technological spaces, focusing on Mexico and Latin America.
Through the analysis of global initiatives, KonfrontHer is proposed as an alternative within our organization to generate female inclusion.
It seeks to create a fair, profitable and collaborative work environment, promoting the professional development of women in technical and leadership roles.

The limited presence of women in the industry is not a recent phenomenon but rather a long-standing trend over the years.
The number of collaborators in computing and information technology has increased from 600,000 in 2013 to 1.358 million in 2024, reflecting the industry's growth and, consequently, the number of workers.
As a result, we see that the number of women in the industry rose from 96,000 in 2013 to 246,000 in 2024, which might suggest greater representation. However, the proportion has remained constant, fluctuating between 16% and 18% of women. This phenomenon indicates that although there are more women in the industry in absolute terms, their relative participation has not seen significant improvements in the country over time.
